‘Aba gyoresh’ wrestling competitions were held at the III World Nomad Games where Turkmen sportsmen has won another silver medal. Our compatriot Ishanmyrat Atayev has distinguished himself in the weight category up to 80 kg. More than 40 sportsmen from 18 countries took part in these competitions. Our athlete went up all the way to the final wining the opponents one after another. However, this was the fight when the luck turned away from our wrestler. Even though our compatriot was able to win the gold but, having received injuries in previous rounds and lost a lot of power against titled opponents, I. Atayev won the silver. As the result, this medal became the 23rd in the collection of national team for five days of the Games. As for today, Turkmenistan is on the fourth place in total team count having 8 gold, 5 silver and 10 bronze medals.
