President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Sung Sang-Rok, the Head and the Executive Director of Hyundai Engineering Co. Ltd (the Republic of Korea). Early in the morning, the Head of the State went by bicycle from the Oguzkhan Palace Complex to the Government Building. For the last few years, the place of the capital has changed beyond recognition. Harmonic design of the facilities are highlighted by the originality of modern architectural image of the main city of the country. During the meeting, the head of the company expressed the gratitude to the President of Turkmenistan for the opportunity to discuss beneficial cooperation in personal conversation, having highlighted that his country, like the rest of the world, is interested in social and economic changes in Turkmen state and gives high assessment to constructive measures taken by National leader for expansion of international partnership. Having highlighted the interest of South Korean business in strengthening of positions in perspective Turkmen market, Sung Sang-Rok expressed sincere gratitude for the support rendered in this direction. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that use of the best world practice and wide implementation of innovative technologies are the main objectives of the strategy of fundamental reforms in all spheres of the state life. At the same time, the Head of Turkmenistan stated productive character of old collaboration with business circles of the Republic of Korea and the focus on certain result, having mentioned huge potential foe expansion of business relations. It was highlighted that realization of joint investment projects in industrial processing of natural resources and diversification of industrial sector of Turkmen economy ae priority vectors of cooperation. Orientation of the economy on establishment of new high technology production facilities including in petrochemical industry where big opportunities are opened for activation of further fruitful cooperation with Hyundai Engineering has been highlighted. The company is a partner in realization of large-scale project of construction of the complex for production of polyethylene and polypropylene. Perspectives of cooperation in transport and logistic sphere, implementation of joint infrastructural projects and long-term investments have been discussed during the meeting. In this context, the head of South Korean company has said about the willingness to present new beneficial proposals to Turkmen side. Having expressed the gratitude for the trust, Sung Sang-Rok assured President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov that maximum efforts to be put for the fulfilment of all contractual obligations undertaken by the company.
