Pilgrims from Turkmenistan, who perform hajj to Mecca and Medina, return back home

A group of pilgrims from Turkmenistan, who performed a hajj to Mecca and Medina, returned back home. As was reported, 153 our compatriots – the representatives of all five regions of the country and the city of Ashgabat together with the millions of pilgrims from all corners of the world visited the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to worship the sacred Kaaba. In accordance with the Resolution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the Turkmenhowayollary Service organized a special flight for the pilgrims. In Medina, they visited the sites of the place of burial of Prophet Muhammad, his companions, the famous mosques and other holy places. Our compatriots also performed rituals of hajj upon arrival to Mecca, visiting the main shrines of the Muslim world. Stepping off the plane, the pilgrims expressed their gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for the opportunity to perform the Hajj that proves the respect for the spiritual and cultural traditions of the nation.
