27 transactions were registered past week at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan. Entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates and other countries purchased, in foreign currency, gasoline and polypropylene produced at the Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries. Gasoline produced at the Seydi Oil Refinery, and technical sulfur (Turkmengas State Concern) were bought by businessmen from the UAE and Afghanistan. Moreover, cotton yarn and Portland cement were sold in foreign currency. Russia, UAE, Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Ukraine were the buyer countries. The total value of transactions exceeded 41 million 36 thousand U.S. dollars. Cotton yarn worth 5 million manats was purchased in local currency by businessmen from Turkey.
