President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Head of International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations Babar Badat who arrived in Turkmenistan for the participation in International Conference ”The Great Silk Road. Toward New Level of Progress”. Having highly appreciated large-scale transformations in transport development , Babar Badat expressed the confidence that Turkmenistan would be important transport and transit centre of Eurasia. The Head of FIATA said that key logistic hub that is under formation in Caspian region would allow coordinating cargo traffic using all modes of transport. During exchange of the opinions, the President of Turkmenistan and his guest outlines priority vectors of bilateral partnership in the context of big projects initiated by Turkmen leader for establishment of international transit and transport corridor on the crossroad of important trade routes of the continent. Having highlighted the appropriateness of relative Resolutions of the UN General Assembly, the Head of FIATA said about the interest of his structure to develop close cooperation with our country and made some proposals on realization of joint projects. In the end, having exchanged with good wishes, the President of Turkmenistan and his guest expressed the confidence in successful development of beneficial partnership.
