The high-priority tasks and the organizational issues were discussed during the board meeting of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. Given that during the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country on April 6, 2018, the President of Turkmenistan severely reprimanded the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan for failing to use the existing opportunities and the potential of the institution under his supervision, B. Gylyjov was relieved of his post as the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan. In accordance with the Charter of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan O. Gurbannazarov was elected as the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
