Congratulations to you on the remarkable date, the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and on the opening of the exhibition and conference of the UIET, – the message of the Head of the State addressed to the participants of the forum says. It is symbolical that this day is observed in the year, which slogan is “Turkmenistan is the heart of the Great Silk Road” as ancient Turkmen merchants and entrepreneurs played the great role in glorifying of our land. Fundamental changes has occurred and good results have been achieved in social and economic development of Turkmenistan, in the improvement of the role of non-governmental sector of the economy and in the support of the entrepreneurship. High levels and great successes, which have been achieved by the entrepreneurs, indicate that the state makes the most favourable conditions for the improvement of economic potential of the country and steadfast growth of the life level of people. As a result of successful realization of the state policy for the support of the goods producers, new enterprises for production of the variety of high quality products are opened in the country. While working in the different spheres of national economy and using mostly local raw materials, our entrepreneurs have managed to improve the production base, having built modern facilities including livestock and poultry complexes and hothouses. They have arranged the production of food items and consumer goods, furniture, carpets, washing liquids, plastic and polyethylene ware, construction materials, household equipment as well as electronics, which is new branch for us, and other import substitutive production, hence having filled local market with domestic goods. Quality competitive production made by Turkmen entrepreneurs is on high demand in foreign markets. It gives the opportunity to increase the export potential of the country significantly. Successful implementation of rich experience that was gained in construction industry allowed national entrepreneurs demonstrating their potential during the relaization of large-scale projects. This is indicated by the social facilities built by them in the capital and the regions of our beautiful country. As a result of systematic support by the state, the level of professional skills of Turkmen constructors grows every year what gives them an opportunity to build big facilities not only in the country but also to increase the volumes of export of construction service to foreign states. I am confident that current exhibition of the industrialists and entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan and the confederation of the UIET will be very important for the development of Turkmen entrepreneurship on the level of modern requirements, for the realization of the existing potential, - congratulation message of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlights.
