Three million trees will be planted during the spring and autumn landscaping campaign

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having ordered in 2018: Ministries and industry departments, khyakimlik of Ashgabat city to ensure the planting of 1.5 million seedlings between Ak Bugday etraps and Baharden of Akhal velayat; Khyakimliks of velayats in the territory of velayats should plant 1.5 million seedlings of deciduous, coniferous, fruit trees and grapes. Ministries, industry departments, khyakimliks of velayats and Ashgabat city are ordered to provide planting of fruit trees and grape seedlings according to breeds on separately allocated land plots, as well as their watering by drip irrigation. The document is also directed to the State Committee for Environmental Protection and Land Resources of Turkmenistan to ensure ministries, sectoral departments and khyakimliks of velayats and Ashgabat city grape trees and three-year old planting stock of trees in sufficient quantities and monitor their planting and care.
