President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is on a working visit to Balkan Velayat, flew by helicopter over the Avaza national tourism zone to see the progress in implementing the projects on the beautification and development of infrastructure in the seaside resort. The President could see the panorama of modern facilities of tourism infrastructure built on the Caspian seashore of Turkmenistan. The Turkmen leader paid particular attention to the beautification of adjacent territory, noting that the natural conditions of the region should be taken into consideration when carrying out landscaping activities. The helicopter landed in one of the beautiful corners of the Caspian coast, where the Turkmen leader inspected the draft designs of the future buildings on the Caspian coast and their layouts. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that along with strengthening the material and technical base of the naval forces, it was necessary to develop and erect buildings for official and social purposes. Underlining the necessity to strengthen the status of the Caspian Sea as the sea of friendship and good neighborliness, the President instructed the relevant officials to maintain peace on the sea and land borders. The President of Turkmenistan also made a number of comments on the projects submitted for his consideration and made appropriate adjustments. As was noted, the environmental aspects, the features of the local landscape and modern requirements for the creation of the most comfortable and aesthetically attractive environment were compulsorily taken into account when preparing the projects of buildings for various purposes. That makes the buildings durable and beautiful to blend well with the local nature. Focusing on the importance of these tasks, the head of state focused on the necessity to conduct works on the Caspian coast on a comprehensive framework. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave the high-ranking officials the instructions on further development of the seaside resort. Bidding farewell to those present, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left the venue. During the helicopter trip, the President also inspected the progress of the construction of new industrial, transport and communication complexes on the Caspian coast. Among them are the International seaport in the city of Turkmenbashi, which is to become the largest logistics center in the Central Asian region. Upon completion of the helicopter trip over the Avaza national tourism zone, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov gave the high-ranking officials the instructions on further development of the seaside resort.
