Turkmen Delegation to Attend 7th Conference of Muslim Women Parliamentarians

At the Government session held on 12 January, the Speaker of the National Parliament, Akja Nurberdiyeva, reported on preparation of our country’s delegation to attend the 7th Conference of the Muslim Women Parliamentarians of the Parliamentary Union of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the 13th session of this international structure that will take place in Iran. In this regard, the head of state mentioned the importance of making effective use of possibilities of parliamentary diplomacy. The significance of further interparliamentary cooperation and continued development of relations with the UN specialized agencies and other reputable structures including the Organization of Islamic Cooperation was also mentioned.
