During video conference session on December 4, State Minister, Chairman of the State Concern Turkmangaz M. Archayev informed the Head of the State on big debt for supply of Turkmen gas to Iran according to bilateral agreements and the contract with National Gas Company of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It was highlighted that no consensus on given subject was achieved during the meetings and negotiations with the representatives of Iranian part. Iranian partners suggested to appeal to International Court of Arbitration for mutually acceptable and objective solution of this issue. Having listened to the arguments of the Head of the State Concern Turkmengaz, the President of Turkmenistan instructed to support the proposal of Iranian National Gas Company on appeal to International arbitration and to prepare relative documents for further proceedings.
