The third issue of Arkadagly Ýaşlar e-Magazine published by the Central Council of Magtymguly Youth Organisation of Turkmenistan in the Year «The Found of the Wisdom of Magtymguly Fraghi» has been released.

On the eve of the Holy Night of Power Gadyr Gijesi, the opening ceremonies of mosques took place in Hazar village of Balkanabat city of Balkan velayat, in Rukhubelent etrap of Dashoguz velayat, in Dovletli village of Khojambaz etrap of Lebap velayat, as well as in Shatlyk village of Sakarchage etrap of Mary velayat.

The next issue of the quarterly scientific and applied journal “Democracy and Law”, published by the Institute of State, Law and Democracy in Turkmen, English and Russian, has been published.

Today, in the conference hall of the Center for Public Organizations, a presentation of the book by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov “Anau – Culture Originated from the Millennia”, dedicated to the proclamation of the ancient town of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024, took place.

Today, the fifth meeting of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan of the seventh convocation was held to consider and adopt laws developed in accordance with the state policy priorities of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov and a comprehensive program for modernizing the country’s legislative framework.

A solemn ceremony of awarding the winners and closing the International Mathematical Olympiad among schoolchildren took place at the Aba Annaev International Academy of Horse Breeding in Arkadag. The event was attended by representatives of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, Halk Maslahaty, public associations, domestic universities, mass media, as well as international organizations and diplomatic missions accredited in our country.

Today, in the city of Arkadag, the presentation of the book by President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov «Anau - culture from the depths of millennia» took place. The new literary work by the head of the state is devoted to declaration of the ancient city of Anau as cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024. This decision adopted at the meeting of the Permanent Council of TURKSOY, testifies to the high international authority of our fatherland, recognition of the powerful contribution of Turkmen people to development of human civilisation.

On March 28, 2024, the International Media Forum “Turkmen Land – the Center of Ancient Civilizations” was held at the “Ýyldyz” hotel, timed to coincide with the celebrations marking the declaration of the city of Anau as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024 and the 300th anniversary of the birth of Magtymguly Fragi.

Today, on the territory of the Ak Bugday etrap of Ahal velayat, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the opening of a new mosque, where Haji Arkadag gave sadaka-agzachar (charitable iftar). The deep meaning lies in the fact that the current opening falls on the month of Oraza and complements the cultural events on the occasion of the proclamation of the city of Anev as the cultural capital of the Turkic world in 2024. This is clear evidence of the continuity of exemplary primordial traditions and humanistic principles of our people.

Today, the capital’s Yyldyz Hotel hosted the International Conference “Main directions and potential for tourism development in Turkmenistan”.
