“Construction and Architecture of Turkmenistan” magazine published by the Ministry of Construction and Architecture is assigned to give coverage to modern processes and tendencies ongoing in the national construction and designing spheres.

Last week, the Turkmen National Institute for Democracy and Human Rights under the President of Turkmenistan hosted a regular meeting of the Inter-departmental Commission for ensuring fulfillment of Turkmenistan’s international commitments in the sphere of human rights and international humanitarian law, which was attended by representatives of Mejlis, ministries and agencies, public organizations of the country. The meeting agenda was focused on the issues of summing up the half-year outcomes of work, outlining prospective plans, and others.

Last week, a regular meeting of the Central Committee for Elections and Referendums in Turkmenistan (for short - CEC) was held to consider the issues of preparations progress for the upcoming elections (on August 16) to Gengeshi (local government) and Mejlis in the electoral districts № 7 «Gunesh» and № 8 «Dostluk» of Ashgabat city. The meeting was attended by the CEC members and staffers, representatives of the CEC working groups, national observers, and mass media.

The next issue of the quarterly information-analytical magazine “Tax system of Turkmenistan” (the periodical approved by the presidential Resolution) is released in the Turkmen, Russian and English languages.

The conference hall of the capital’s hotel “Yyldyz” hosted a Turkmen-Korean forum on the water resources rational management co-organized by the Ministry of Water Economy of Turkmenistan and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in our country. The main goal of the forum was - to exchange experience and present the projects and services based on the latest technologies and researches in the sector.

Last week, the capital’s “Sergi Köşgi” Expo Center hosted a grand opening of the International Exhibition “Saglyk-2015” devoted to the 20th anniversary of the “Saglyk” State Program and Healthcare and Medical Industry Day, which is widely celebrated in our country.

On the threshold of the great national holiday – Galla Bairamy, which is traditionally marked on the third Sunday of July, a scientific-practical conference “Achievements in the grain-farming sector in the Year of Neutrality and Peace” was organized in the capital’s Agricultural Complex by the country’s Ministry of Agriculture, State Association “Turkmengallaonumleri” and public organizations.

On July 18, the ancient Turkmen land, the Turkmen people, as well as all Moslems of the world, celebrated the bright holiday Oraza Bairamy, which marked the end of the holy Oraza month and 30-day fast.

Late last week, three park-amusement complexes and a multilevel parking lot were at a time opened in the “Avaza” National Tourist Zone.

These days, the Mukam Palace of the State Culture Centre of Turkmenistan hosted a solemn action attended by the workers of culture and masters of art, representatives of social organizations, student youth, devoted to the grandiose transformations carried out under the leadership of our nation’s great Arkadag – the leader of nation Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, who has changed our beloved country’s appeal beyond recognition.
