President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, in existing good tradition, has visited an equestrian complex in the first days of this year. At the time of walking Akhal-Teke horses on the site of the complex, the head of state has received glad tidings – a foal was born.

Around three and half thousand pupils spend winter holidays in 14 children health resorts of Gyokdere. There are 240 children from the capital orphanage «Döwletliler köşgi» and 100 fosters of Balkanabat orphanage.

The residents of Oguzboy settlement in Ruhubelent etrap of Dashoguz Velayat will receive new water pipeleine, which is currently under construction according to the programme for provision of the population with quality drinking water. Realization of combined measures includes replacement of worn equipment and outdated methods of water purification, construction of water pressure facilities, introduction of new methods of control for sanitary, hygienic and ecological requirements.

Turkmen schoolchildren gathered together at the square in front of the Palace of Children and Youth in the Turkmen capital, from where they headed to a beautiful corner of our country - Geokdere settlement for the winter holidays.

A new citizen of Turkmenistan was born at the Maternal and Child Health Research Centre in the first minutes of the New Year. He is the first reported baby born in 2017 in our country.

Turkmenistan met New Year 2017 with large celebrations and said goodbye to 2016, which was marked by the 25th anniversary of the independence of our state. We expect many important events in the current year. There are Presidential Elections and V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games. The Year of Health and Inspiration is declared in the country.

Today, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov attended the New Year show at the main New Year tree, sharing this joyous and fun event with young participants of the celebrations, organized in front of the cultural entertainment center “Alem”.

President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution and assigned the State Custom Service to realize the measures related to the joining of our country to the Public Key Directory of the International Civil Aviation Organization.

Traditionally, the «Döwletliler köşgi» orphanage hold celebrations on the threshold of the New Year, where the children were presented with the gift on behalf of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov has signed Resolution on dealing with the organizational and other issues, arising from forthcoming country’s chairmanship in the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea for 2017-2019.
