On February 3, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov, who had arrived in our country on a working visit.

On February 2, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov conducted a meeting of the State Security Council devoted to this year’s one-month activities of the military and law enforcement agencies.

On February 2, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov convened a regular video-selector meeting with participation of velayat khyakims to discuss top-priority objectives of the regions’ socio-economic development in the context of the comprehensive development programs ongoing in the country, the running year’s first-month results, the implementation progress of seasonal agri-works, as well as other important issues of state life.

On January 30, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov held a regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers to sum up the running year’s one-month state-of-the-economy results, to consider other important issues of state life and a number of draft documents.

The past week was marked with the trilateral meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Turkey in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

On January 29, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Elmar Mamedyarov.

On January 28, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov received Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoglu.

On January 26, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov presided over a regular working video-selector meeting with participation of a number of Cabinet Deputies Chairman, khyakims of velayats and Ashgabat city, and heads of some sectoral agencies.

On the morning of January 23, with participation of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, a solemn ceremony of awarding workers of the railway industry, who had taken an active part in the construction of the international Kazakhstan-Turkmenistan-Iran railway, was held in the Ruhyet Palace.

On January 22, President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov convened a regular session of the Cabinet of Ministers to consider the plans of important activities for the current period, the priority issues of the country’s social and economic development and other topical issues of state life.
