President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held joint session of the Cabinet of Ministers and State Security Council where the realization of the Presidential programme, adopted programmes of social and economic development of the country have been reviewed as well as other issues of home policy have been discussed.

VIII session of International Ahalteke Equestrian Association was held in Ashgabat chaired by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Given the significant contribution to the development of horse breeding, preservation of the pedigree and rewarding characteristics of Ahalteke horses, popularization and increase of the world glory of ‘heavenly’ horses, the high professionalism, as well as on the occasion of the Turkmen Horse Day:

The meeting of authorized representatives of the Caspian Sea littoral states has ended in the Turkmen capital. It was co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Finance and Economy, and State Enterprise on the Caspian Sea Issues under the President of Turkmenistan.

On instructions from President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Mejlis Chairperson G. Mammedova has accepted credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Turkmenistan Ngo Duc Manh.

Decision of the next session of International Ahalteke Equestrian Association in Ashgabat in April 2019 was taken at the VIII session of this organization.

President of the Ahalteke Horse Association of the Kingdom of Spain Blanca de Toledo and private horse breeder from Austria Markus Mag. Hubmann spoke during the VIII session of the International Ahelteke Horse Breeding Association.

Speaking during the VIII session of the International Ahelteke Horse Breeding Association, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov focused on the moments that illustrate the stages of conducted work, including the exchange of experience and the establishment of new information channels to promote the Turkmen horse breeding at the world arena and upgrade the qualification of Turkmen specialists in this sphere.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highly assessed the contribution of the Galkynysh group of the national equestrian games into the world popularization of Ahalteke horses. The renowned group took part in the prestigious international Circus Art festivals in Moscow (the Russian Federation), Latina (Italy), Zhuhai (the People’s Republic of China) and won the grand prizes and gold cups.

“Opening the International Ahalteke Horse Breeding Association, we have laid the solid foundation to preserve the pure Ahalteke horse breed and increase the number of Ahalteke horses in the world”, emphasized President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov speaking during the VIII session of the Association.
