The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having assigned the following:

For further improvement of activity of transport sector and efficiency of work of maritime merchant fleet and according to the Merchant Shipping Code of Turkmenistan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution, having assigned the Deňiz Söwda Floty Closed Joint Stock Venture as National Maritime Carrier and approved the Provision on National Maritime Carrier.

The Centre of Public Organizations of the capital hosted the meeting of President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with representative of public political parties and cultural sphere of the country.

President, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular session of the State Security Council where outcomes of activity of military and law enforcement agencies for January 2019 and measures for further strengthening of equipment and facility base of security forces have been discussed.

Two years are marked on February 12 since the elections of the President of Turkmenistan when millions of our countrymen using their constitutional rights and performing their civic duty voted for Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, having entrusted him the psot of the Head of the State for next seven years.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference session with the participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and heads of the ministries, hyakims of velayats and Ashgabat. The agenda included the discussion of the utmost objectives of regional and capital development.

Vice-premier, Head of Foreign Ministry Rashid Meredov informed the Head of the State about the outcomes of the session of Organization Committee for preparation to the first Caspian Economic Forum during video conference session.

Turkmenistan delegation will go on working visit to Germany for participation in Turkmen – German business forum on February 11 – 14. During video conference session on February 11, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov approved the drafts of intergovernmental documents planned to be signed during the forum and sent relevant Resolution to the Vice-premier by electronic document management system.

Vice-premier, Head of the Foreign Ministry Rashid Meredov had working trip to the capital of the Republic of Tunisia where he was received by President Beji Caid Essebsi. Mutual intent to active cooperation in international arena, in particular under the United Nations, has been expressed during the meeting. In this regard, it is worth mentioning that Tunisia is the co-author of number of the Resolutions of the UN General Assembly initiated by Turkmenistan and unanimously adopted by the world community.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Republic of India Shalar Geldynazarov presented the credentials to President Ram Nath Kovind.
