President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held working session with participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of military and law enforcement agencies.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held video conference session with the participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and hyakims of the velayats, which agenda includes topical issues of social and economic development of the regions and capital.

As it was informed at the video conference session on July 23, the launch ceremony of power line Rabatakshan – Kalaynau would be held this month with the participation of the President of Afghanistan Ashraf Ghani. Realization of this important project will give the impulse to economic development of Bathyz Velayat and neighbouring regions of fraternal Afghanistan, particularly to the construction of new living and social facilities.

With the aim to implement the fundamental and applied research in the sphere of state and the national legislation, to ensure the scientific validity of the work on the democratization of the Turkmen society and state, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree, according to which:

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Nuryev Yagmyr Mamidjikovich is appointed as the Director of the Institute of State, Law and Democracy.

In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan, Charyev Begench Shadurdyevich is released from the post as the Director of the National Institute of Democracy and Human Rights under the President of Turkmenistan due to a transfer to another appointment.

On 18 July 2018, the Permanent Mission of Turkmenistan to the United Nations, together with Permanent Missions of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and the Republic of India, held a presentation headlined “Turkmenistan–Afghanistan–Pakistan–India Gas Pipeline: New Energy Silk Road to Provide Access to Reliable, Sustainable and Modern Energy For All” at the UNDP headquarters in New York.

The delegation of Turkmenistan, led by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in the High-Level Political Forum under the aegis of the UN Economic and Social Council.

In the afternoon, the Head of the State and his grandchildren made a sea ride in the Caspian on Galkynysh yacht, which captain reported on the readiness of the boat to sail to the Head of the State.
