The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution for successful implementation of the objectives outlined by the Programme of social and economic development of the country in 2019 – 2025 as well as construction of new administrative centre of Ahal Velayat. The document assigns to start the construction of administrative centre of Ahal Velayat in Gyoktepe etrap. The first stage of construction to be completed in 2019 – 2021 and the second in 2020 – 2022.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution on construction of new modern villages in Charjew, Sayat, Khalach and Kerky etraps of Lebap Velayat.

The seventh training course on ‘The Caspian Sea – Sustainable Development and Management’ has started in the Avaza National Tourist Zone. It is co-organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the State Enterprise on the Caspian Sea Issues under the President of Turkmenistan in cooperation with the International Ocean Institute (IOI), a partner of the United Nations.

The key areas of cooperation between Turkmenistan and the European Union were discussed during the meetings with Head of EU Delegation to Turkmenistan, Mr.Christian Berger at the ministries and departments of Turkmenistan.

The Mejlis of Turkmenistan adopted the Resolution on Ratification of the Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the Avoidance of Double Taxation with Respect to Taxes on Income and Capital.

The Mejlis of Turkmenistan adopted the Resolution on the Naming of Turkmen National Conservatory after Maya Kuliyeva and on the Naming of Turkmen State Medical University after Myrat Garriyev.

The fifth session of the Mejlis of the sixth convocation, where number of new laws and legal acts, which were developed according to integrated programme of modernization of legal and regulatory base of the country, has been adopted, took place. Heads of some ministries and departments as well as representatives of mass media were invited to take part in the session.

By the Resolution of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi) Serdarmammet Garajayev was appointed as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the State of Kuwait.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having assigned to hold nationwide community day for planting of trees in the country on March 21.

For regulation of the activity of the state pre-school children and secondary education institutes as well as according to the Law of Turkmenistan on Edcuation, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution, having approved the Provision on the state pre-school children and secondary education institutes.
