Following the principles of mercy and humanity as well as on occasion of the 28th anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree on pardoning 868 convicted citizens.

In order to strengthen the legal foundations of the state policy in the field of environmental protection, identify the key areas of work to prevent climate change and reduce their negative impact, as well as implement international legal instruments, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Resolution, approving the new edition of the National Strategy for climate change.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbangulyev Merdan Gurbangulyevich is released from the position as the Deputy Khyakim of Kopetdag Etrap, Ashgabat for the serious shortcomings in his work.
