The agenda of the online meeting of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the “Central Asia plus Japan” Dialogue included important issues of regional cooperation and coordinated interaction, taking into account the current situation in the world caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed condolences to President of the Republic of India Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi in connection over a passenger plane crash at the Kozhikode Calicut International Airport, Kerala state that caused numerous human losses and injuries.

On the first day after completion of annual leave, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a video conference session of General Director of the World Health Organization Tedros Ghebreyesus.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed deep condolences to President of Lebanon, Michel Naim Aoun over the explosion in the port of Beirut, which caused numerous injuries and large-scale destructions.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov completed the work on a new book dedicated to the good, centuries-old traditions of the Turkmen people and their national foundations.

Based on good-neighborly relations and humanistic principles of the Turkmen people, in order to further promote important international initiatives in the context of the activities carried out by Turkmenistan to assist in restoring the socio-economic and humanitarian spheres and provide comprehensive support to the neighboring Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, authorizing the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry to donate medical equipment for polymerase chain reaction (Real-time PCR) to the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan as humanitarian aid.
