The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution authorizing the “Türkmenaragatnaşyk” Agency to conclude a contract with Vialex FZE (the United Arab Emirates) for the purchase of equipment, software and licenses for the modernization of the video conferencing system.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Govshudov Merdan was released from the position as the Deputy Minister of Education of Turkmenistan in charge for school and preschool institutions for serious shortcomings in his work and the failure to fulfil the assigned duties.

During the session of the Government on September 4, Vice-premier, Head of the Foreign Ministry R. Meredov has presented Draft Resolutions on Financial Matters of Diplomatic Service of Turkmenistan and on Further Improvement of Consulate Service of Turkmenistan to the President for review.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a telephone conversation with President of the Republic of Italy Sergio Mattarella.

President, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held offsite session of the State Security Council. The agenda of the session included outcomes of work of military and law enforcement agencies of the country for eight months of the year.

Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan, Rashid Meredov held a videoconference meeting with Acting Chairman of the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, Ajmal Ahmadi. During the conversation, the parties focused on the importance of enhancing Turkmen-Afghan cooperation across the entire spectrum of areas.

Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a videoconference meeting with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aidarbekov.

In order to improve the procedure for drawing-up and issuing passports to citizens of Turkmenistan, their residence registration, termination of registration, in accordance with the Law ""On Migration"" and the Law ""On internal affairs authority of Turkmenistan"", the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, authorizing:

Opening ceremony of new building of the Ministry of Sports and Youth Affairs and Olympic Sports Department of Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports has been held with participation of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on the Day of Knowledge and Students.
