President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the President of the Republic of Serbia Aleksandar Vucic and all the people of the country on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Serbia - State Day.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent telegrams to State Councilor of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation Mintimer Shaimiev and Chairman of the Management Board of PJSC Gazprom Alexey Miller, in which he expressed sincere gratitude for the warm congratulations and good wishes on the occasion of the New Year 2022.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar, who arrived in Turkmenistan led his country’s government delegation.

The briefing held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was devoted to the historic decisions taken on February 11 at the session of the Halk Maslahaty of the Milli Gengesh held by President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov.

Today, in the capital «Maslahat köşgi» under the chairmanship of President of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov the meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty of the Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, which became a significant event in the life of our state and society, has been held.

Today, an extraordinary meeting of the Halk Maslakhaty (People’s Council) and Milli Gengesh (National Council) of Turkmenistan began its work in our country.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, at the request of Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Ch. Purchekov, who is in charge of the construction complex, got acquainted with the progress of work at some facilities in the capital and with new projects planned for implementation. In this regard, the head of state heard reports from the respective Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Hyakim of the city of Ashgabat, the head of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan, as well as a representative of Bouygues Turkmen.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov sent a message to the Chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia Vladimir Zhirinovsky, in which he noted that he received the news of his illness with coronavirus and hospitalization with deep sympathy.

Today, the President of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a regular session of the State Security Council to consider the results of the work done by the military and law enforcement agencies in January of this year, as well as relevant issues to ensure the security and peace of the Turkmen state, further strengthening the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies and improving their activities.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held an online working meeting, in which some Deputy-Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and khyakims of regions took part. The issues connected with further economic development of independent Turkmenistan, the rising of living standards of people as well as conduction of seasonal agricultural activities at a high level were considered.
