The 26th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26) at the Scottish Conference Center in Glasgow, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, was attended by a delegation of our country headed by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Serdar Berdimuhamedov, who addressed the forum with a number of specific initiatives of the Turkmen side aimed at consolidating the efforts of the international community in adaptation and mitigation of climate change.
Today, the President of Turkmenistan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council to sum up the results of the work of military and law enforcement agencies for January-October 2021, outline priority tasks for ensuring security and tranquility in an independent state, further improvement of the activities of law enforcement agencies and strengthening their material and technical base, as well as to consider a number of other issues.

Today President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov took part in the solemn ceremony of putting into operation the Ashgabat-Tejen section of the Ashgabat-Turkmenabat high-speed highway.

Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting with some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of structures of the oil and gas complex, as well as with the participation of representatives of the Tatneft Public Joint Stock Company of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation, who arrived in our country to participate in the 26th International Conference “Oil and Gas of Turkmenistan-2021”.
Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip, during which he visited the southern part of the capital, which has been harmoniously developing in recent years, where he got acquainted with the works that have entered the final stage around the cultural and park complex of Magtymguly Fraghi. The issues of improving the territory of the complex, created in honor of the great poet and thinker, landscaping and turning these places into a blooming garden and, thus, maintaining a high level of ecology in the capital, are in the constant focus of the leader of the nation.
Today in the capital the talks between President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokaev who arrived the day before in our country with a state visit, have taken place.
