By Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Amanberdy Hodjamuhammedovich Tuiliev is appointed as Deputy Minister of Industry of Turkmenistan.

By the Ukase of the President of Turkmenistan, on the occasion of the New Year’s holiday, the day off shall be moved from January 1, 2017 to January2 (Monday).

By the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan Annanyyazova Guljemile Geldimyradovna was appointed Deputy Chairperson of the State Statistics Committee of Turkmenistan.

President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov signed the following Laws of Turkmenistan: “On Ombudsman”, “On rendering psychiatric support”, “On the amateur and folk arts”, “On Food Security” (a revised version), “On the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan” (a revised version), “On Amending and Supplementing the Code of Turkmenistan on Administrative Violations”, “On Amending the Criminal Code of Turkmenistan”, “On Amending the Criminal Executive Code of Turkmenistan”, “On Amending Several Legislative Acts of Turkmenistan”, “On Amending the Family Code of Turkmenistan”, “On Amending and Supplementing the Law of Turkmenistan on the Diplomatic Service”.

Secretary-General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon, speaking at the Global conference on Sustainable Transport held in Ashgabat, said that following this important subject submitted for discussion during the forum, he decided to participate personally in this exclusively important event.

By the Ukase of the President of Turkmenistan, Ata Oveznepesovich Serdarov was appointed the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkmenistan to the Kingdom of Belgium (Brussels), with concurrent accreditation to the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

The President of Turkmenistan signed the Law “On the 2017 State Budget of Turkmenistan”.

Given the centuries-old fraternal relations between Turkmenistan and the State of Palestine as well as the by-now achieved level of mutual understanding and trust, to create the appropriate conditions for proper organizing the activities of the Embassy of the State of Palestine in Turkmenistan, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, having instructed the Ministry of Economy and Development of Turkmenistan, in the generally-admitted order, to make an appropriate contract for accommodating the above-mentioned Embassy in our capital.

The President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution on authorising the khyakimlik of Akhal velayat to make a contract with the economic society «Täze jaý» for designing, building, equipping, and neighbourhoods improvement of the 3,000-capacity building «Türkmeniň ak öýi» and 3,000-capacity buildings for sadaka in «Nowruz ýaýlasy», Ak bugday etrap, including building of the inlet highway, purchasing of the relevant specialised transport vehicles.
