In accordance with the Resolution of President, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, Minister of Defense of Turkmenistan B. Gundogdiyev is sent on an official trip to Moscow, the Russian Federation on June 23-24, 2020 to participate in celebrations dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945.

Having accomplished working trip to Balkan Velayat, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has left Turkmenbashy International Airport for the capital.

The online meeting held with the participation of the representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan and the France-Turkmenistan Chamber of Commerce Prospects focused on the prospects for development of Turkmen-French cooperation in the trade and economic sphere.

The Protocol on the establishment of diplomatic relations between our country and the Republic of Sierra Leone was signed at the Embassy of Turkmenistan in the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Regular session was held in video conference format under Turkmenistan – European Union Dialog on human rights. The Ombudsman, heads and representatives of the Mejlis, Foreign Ministry and other officials took part in the meeting from Turkmen side.

Current subjects of cooperation between Turkmenistan and Abu Dhabi Development Fund was on the agenda of the meeting with General Director of the Fund Mohamed Saif Al Suwaidi, which was held in video conference format.

The priority aspects of cooperation within the framework of the Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Program (CAREC), initiated by the Asian Development Bank, were discussed during an online meeting of the CAREC National Coordinators. The Turkmen side was represented by the heads of the Ministry of Finance and Economics.

Representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population as well as the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs took part in the regional video seminar held in the Bureau of International Labour Organization for Easter Europe and Central Asia countries.

Opening ceremony of specialized shops of the Ministry of Textile Industry took place in Ashgabat and Gumdag, Balkan Velayat.

President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is currently on working trip in Balkan velayat, inspected the works in agricultural sphere of the region.
