In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan

In order to ensure the implementation of the "Programme of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country for 2019-2025", to strengthen control over the measures taken in this direction, as well as to further increase the responsibility of the Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers and Khyakims for the social and economic development in the velayats and the city of Ashgabat, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, making appointments:

In accordance with the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan:

On February 11, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held video conference extended joint session of the Cabinet of Ministers and State Security Council. Heads of ministries and departments, higher educational institutes and mass media, regional and capital’s administrations have been invited.

On February 10, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held a working video conference session where the outcomes of the economic, financial and banking complex of the country in 2020 were reviewed and objectives for the current year were outlined.

In accordance with the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan Gadyrgeldi Mushshikov was reprimanded for improper execution of official duties, weakening of control over the activities of the ministries and departments under his supervision.

In order to reward diplomatic officials of Turkmenistan in the epoch of might and happiness for their personal contribution to the implementation of the neutral, peaceful and constructive foreign policy of the country, building up and strengthening relations with foreign states in the political, trade, economic, scientific, educational, cultural, humanitarian and other fields, protection of state interests, rights and legitimate interests of citizens and legal entities of Turkmenistan abroad, expansion of effective dialogue with authoritative international organizations, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree, authorizing to establish a professional honorary distinctions "Türkmenistanyň ussat diplomaty" as well as the Regulations on the award, its description and sample of the certificate. 

On February 9, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has held video conference session where the results of activities on the implementation of the foreign policy course of independent neutral Motherland in 2020 were reviewed and priority tasks for the current year were identified.

On February 8, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held a working video conference session where the outcomes of work for 2020 in the spheres of science, education, health care, sports and public organizations of the country have been reviewed as well as priority tasks to improve their activities have been identified.

Intensive preparations are well underway in Turkmenistan for the election of Khalk Maslakhaty members of the Milli Gengesh (National Council). In accordance with the electoral legislation, the nomination of candidates opened on February 6. Velayat, etrap, and city khalk maslakhaty are currently holding meetings to select and nominate their candidates.
