Today, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held an online joint meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and the State Security Council with the participation of the khyakims of the velayats and Ashgabat city to consider the preparations for the presidential elections of Turkmenistan and a number of other issues.

Today, at the building of the Halk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Chairman of the Council of Elders of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) Binali Yildirim.

In order to successfully achieve the goals set before the textile industry in the period Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, further strengthen its material and technical base, as well as implement the Decree No. 1969 “On the purchase of equipment by the Ministry of Textile Industry of Turkmenistan” issued by President of Turkmenistan on October 23, 2020, the President of Turkmenistan signed the Decree.

Today, the Turkmen capital hosted a video conference on development of the country’s tourism sector, which was organized as part of the World Expo 2020 held in Dubai.

Turkmenistan is on the verge of a major event. Less and less time remains until the moment when the country's polling stations open their doors for the people of Turkmenistan, who, using their constitutional right, will have to fulfill their civic duty and elect the head of state.

In order to provide state support to Turkmen artists in the era of the Revival of the new era of the powerful state, create favorable conditions for their work, as well as in accordance with Article 11 of the Law of Turkmenistan «On the denationalization and privatization of state property», the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, instructing the Ministry of Finance and Economy in the prescribed order to privatize, through a direct (address) sale to the Union of Artists, a building that is on the balance sheet of the State Cultural Center of the Ministry of Culture, located at Ashgabat, Turkmenbashi Avenue, 10.

In order to successfully solve the tasks set for the oil and gas complex of Turkmenistan, as well as increase the productivity of oil wells through the introduction of modern technologies and special equipment into production, the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution allowing the State Concern "Turkmennebit" to enter into a contract with PJSC "Tatneft" of the Republic of Tatarstan (Russian Federation) on the performance of services to increase the flow rate of oil wells at the Goturdepe oil and gas field, concluded in accordance with Decree No. 11189 of the President of Turkmenistan On the provision of special services by the State Concern «Turkmennebit» dated July 30, 2010, to conclude in the prescribed manner an additional agreement on the provision of services at at least 550 oil wells at the Goturdepe oil and gas field, including those where work is underway in accordance with the above contract.

Yhe work on the implementation of the policy of "open doors" initiated by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and broad international cooperation is successfully continuing in independent neutral Turkmenistan.
