Last week, 86 transactions were registered at the bargain of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan.

Turkmen nationals welcomed the National holiday of spring – International Day of Nowruz with colourful events in the atmosphere of special inspiration and joy with the most kind hopes and bright intentions. Colourful folklore and ethnographic performances, bright costumes, songs and dances that have come down from the depth of centuries highlighted a deep symbol of this event in honour of awakening of nature and renewal of life.

The start of the spring planting campaign was launched today in Turkmenistan, with the participation of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov. The mass planting of trees that took place throughout the country became not only a real celebration of the inspired work of our compatriots, but also another clear evidence of the Turkmen people's loyalty to spiritual traditions and values, one of which is caring for their native land.

In accordance with Article 92 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, as well as Article 7 of the Law of Turkmenistan "On the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan", the President of Turkmenistan signed a Resolution, according to which the resignation of the members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan in full force before the newly elected President of Turkmenistan was accepted, and also prescribed to the resigned members of the Cabinet Ministers of Turkmenistan to continue the performance of their official duties until the formation of a new composition of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan.

Today, in the capital Rukhyet Palace a solemn inauguration ceremony of the newly elected President of Turkmenistan has taken place. This day will enter the history of our independent neutral country as a landmark event, which marks irreversibility of democratic transformations developed in our country that possesses age-old traditions of sovereignty of people.

Today, the telephone conversation has taken place between incumbent President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and King of Bahrain Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifah.
