Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is on a working visit to Astana, is taking part in a meeting of heads of delegations in the «SCO+» format within the framework of the next Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). 

Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, who is on a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan, took part in the opening ceremony of the monument to the great poet and philosopher of the East Magtymguly Fragi, erected in Astana. 

Today, the National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov left for a working visit to the Republic of Kazakhstan to participate in the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO). 

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to US President Joseph Biden on the occasion of the Independence Day of the United States of America.

Today, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country, Army General Serdar Berdimuhamedov, held a regular meeting of the State Security Council. The agenda included the results of the work of military and law enforcement agencies over the six months of the current year, as well as issues of ensuring security and tranquility in our sovereign Homeland, strengthening the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies, and further improving their activities.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the people and the Government of Turkmenistan, as well as on his own behalf, sent heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to the President of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and all the friendly people of the country on the occasion of the Independence Day of the Republic of Belarus.

The events of the past week once again demonstrated the success of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov's strategy to transform our Homeland into one of the world's powerful states, where the most favorable conditions are ensured for expanding mutually beneficial cooperation with foreign partners, realizing the intellectual and spiritual potential of society, and improving the well-being of the native people.

The year 2023, which passed under the motto ‘Happy youth with Arkadag Serdar’, was full of important events that were inscribed in the chronicles of the modern history of the country. That year has been marked by concrete achievements in ensuring human rights and freedoms.

On July 1, 2024, on instructions of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, Chairman of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan D.Gulmanova accepted credentials from the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Nicaragua to our country Tatiana Daniela Garcia Silva.
