A large number of working meetings, negotiations, political consultations, international forums, seminars, exhibitions, cultural and other events that took place in our Homeland last month in the context of the open door policy, being successfully implemented under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, were another illustration of the commitment of Independent Neutral Turkmenistan to a broad interstate dialogue for general wellbeing, security and sustainable development.
The formation of a patriotic, highly educated, erudite, physically and morally healthy, intelligent young generation is one of the strategic tasks for the development of Turkmenistan in the Epoch of the Revival of a new era of a powerful state, clearly identified by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov.
The priority tasks set by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the trade complex include the development of international trade and economic relations, increasing the production of import-substituting products, strengthening the country's food security, improving trade services provided through a digital system, etc.
During the extended meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on July 8 this year, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov placed special emphasis on the need to take further steps to promote the environmental initiatives of Turkmenistan and develop effective cooperation in this area with foreign partners.
Numerous working meetings, political consultations, business negotiations, forums, exhibitions and conferences organized in July of this year both in our country and abroad became a vivid evidence of the steady growth of Turkmenistan’s authority on the world stage in the context of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov’s foreign policy strategy.
As is known, during his speech at the Fourth Consultative Meeting of the Heads of State of Central Asia, held on July 21 in the Kyrgyz Republic, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov said that Turkmenistan is currently preparing initiatives at the UN to declare 2023 the International Year of "Dialogue as a Guarantee of Peace" and on the development of the Resolution of the General Assembly "Zone of Peace and Trust in Central Asia", emphasizing that he counts on the support of these constructive proposals by all the countries of Central Asia.
During the enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on July 8, which was held to sum up the performance of the sectors of the national economic complex for the first half of 2022, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov noted, in particular, that over the past six months, 30 large facilities and housing with a total area of 322.000 square meters have been built and put into operation in the country, including luxury residential buildings, in the total value of about 900 million manats.
At an enlarged meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers held on July 8, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed a Decree approving plans for admission to study in 2022 at universities and secondary vocational schools of Turkmenistan.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov pays special attention to the integrated development of the regions as one of the key conditions for the overall progress of the country, taking important steps to achieve the grandiose goals of a new stage in the development of Turkmenistan, called "The revival of a new era of a powerful state."
The events of the past month, during which important business meetings, political negotiations, business forums, large-scale cultural activities, exhibitions, conferences and other significant events were regularly held by Turkmenistan in the country and abroad, demonstrate the consistency of the progressive state policy of "open doors" successfully implemented by the President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, focused on achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
