Research-to practice conference timed to 24th anniversary of the introduction of the national currency – manat conducted in the conference hall of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Development. The government members, heads and specialists of state and joint stock commercial banks, relevant ministries and departments, faculty and students of higher educational institutions, as well as representatives of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Turkmenistan and the mass media attended the forum. The topics of the forum's reports covered such areas as the improvement of the financial and banking systems, the correlation between the stability of manat and the dynamics of economic development, the modification of banknotes, the expansion of cooperation with authoritative regional and international financial structures and the history of monetary circulation in Turkmenistan. The attention of the forum participants was focused on modern technologies of providing services to the population and entrepreneurs. With the introduction of Internet banking, as well as the transition to non-cash settlements, the sphere of banking services is moving into a new, digital plane, which will contribute to strengthening the positions of the Turkmen manat. The development of the system for issuing loans, various mechanisms of lending to individuals and legal entities needs to create specialized programs promoting the development of small and medium-sized businesses in Turkmenistan was considered and discussed as one of the key topics of discussion. The legislative base called to improve the regulation the partnership of borrowers and creditors is developing. During the conference were noted the priority directions of development of the Turkmen economy: diversification, export-oriented and import substitution, which positively affects the stability of the Turkmen manat. The share of exports is growing; foreign goods on the national market are increasingly unable to compete with the high quality, environmentally safe and low-cost products of Turkmen producers. Industrial growth and structural modernization, the creation of new industries and the successful implementation of national transformation programs have a positive impact on the growth of employment and the welfare of the population. On the forum were reports dedicated to the Turkmen currency, in which the positive effect of the 2009 denomination was noted. The theme of reflection of the historical and cultural heritage and modern achievements of Turkmenistan in the design of new banknotes was raised. The conference, timed to the 24th anniversary of the national currency conducted at the Institute of Economics and Development, where the future experts of the financial and banking sphere study. They will implement the strategy of modernization of this sphere, actively develop the E-commerce. Therefore, in the educational process, innovations and modern educational technologies are actively involved. The faculty seeks to promote maximally the discovery of the intellectual and creative potential of student youth.
