Today, on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, ceremonies were held to present state awards and badges conferring honorary titles upon outstanding workers across various economic sectors, leading production personnel, employees of ministries and agencies, including their structural subdivisions, and figures in culture and the arts. These individuals have made significant contributions, through their conscientious labor, to the socio-economic development of Turkmenistan and the successful implementation of large-scale transformations.

The ceremonies – which further highlighted the significance of the truly historic events marking the year “Independent, Neutral Turkmenistan – Homeland of Purposeful Winged Horses” – were attended by the Chairperson of the Mejlis and members of the Government. They congratulated the attendees on the approaching great holiday – Independence Day of Turkmenistan – and wished them happiness, well-being, new achievements, and creative success for the benefit of the people and the prosperity of the beloved Motherland.

These events served as further evidence of the importance, our country places on recognizing at the state level, employees who have distinguished themselves through diligent work. Thanks to the successful implementation of noble principles – originally established by Hero-Arkadag and now carried forward under the wise leadership of Arkadagly Hero Serdar – the well-being of our people is assured. In the current epoch, presenting state awards on significant dates to citizens who have excelled in their work has become a cherished tradition.

In this context, the awarding of state honors to citizens who have distinguished themselves in public administration, the economy, industry, agriculture, science and education, entrepreneurship, and the creative arts clearly demonstrates the high regard in which the conscientious work of these individuals is held.

As is known, at the historic session of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov signed the relevant decrees awarding state honors to the country’s citizens. Thus, in commemoration of the 35^th anniversary of the Motherland’s independence, citizens of Turkmenistan have been awarded high state honors for their personal contributions to strengthening the country’s independence, sovereignty, and rule of law; enhancing its economic potential and international standing; implementing state programs for the systematic development of key economic sectors – such as oil and gas, construction, industry, transport and communications, and agriculture and water management – as well as for improving production efficiency and financial-economic performance, boosting labor productivity, developing new products, introducing advanced machinery, technologies, and best practices, and ensuring the efficient use of transport assets.

Among the recipients are professionals from various sectors who have made significant contributions to ensuring high-quality public services and food abundance; employing state-of-the-art aircraft and helicopter piloting techniques; skillfully performing music and song; creating works of high artistic merit; achieving great success in state and public affairs; improving living standards; accelerating the development of science, technology, sports, education, healthcare, and social services; advancing national culture, literature, and the arts – including theater, cinema, television, music, and the visual arts – as well as journalism and cultural-educational institutions; fostering a spirit of diligence, courage, honesty, and boundless love and devotion to the Fatherland among the youth, enhancing international prestige, and training highly qualified specialists. Citizens of Turkmenistan have also been honored for their distinguished service to the independent state and their people, for years of conscientious and exemplary work, for outstanding achievements, and for their talent and professional excellence.

Particular recognition was given to women awarded the “Zenan Kalby” order and to members of the older generation, who were awarded the honorary title of Turkmenistan “Hormatly il ýaşulusy” for their significant contribution to strengthening national unity and cohesion, and educating and nurturing youth in the spirit of national values, historical heritage, patriotism, hard work, courage, and bravery.

The audience listened with great enthusiasm to the President of Turkmenistan’s address to creative figures awarded state awards of Turkmenistan, as well as to the winners of the “Türkmeniň Altyn Asyry” competition.
