Under the wise leadership of deeply esteemed President of Turkmenistan Berdimuhamedov Serdar Gurbangulyevich in the Era of Revival of the new epoch of the powerful state, our people with high enthusiasm and labour successes solemnly meet the glorious 35^th anniversary of sacred independence of our native land.

According to the Military doctrine of defensive character of independent, permanently neutral Turkmenistan, which is committed to principles of permanent neutrality, peaceful disposition, goodwill, humanity and considers it a mutually beneficial priority to develop development mutually beneficial cooperation and equal rights with states and nations of the world in the international relations, defensive power and material and technical basis of the Armed Forces of our country consistently grows stronger. As a result of large-scale military transformations held in our country, working and domestic living conditions of defenders of our native land and members of their families are thoroughly updated, all possibilities for their fruitful service are created.

The diligent service of our deeply esteemed Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed forces of Turkmenistan to our people and native land, fidelity to the holy duty, wise admonishments of native land’s protection are the sample for imitation in increase of military-patriotic feelings of our citizens, and especially, youth, their education by spiritualised personalities with developed and healthy outlook.

Considering big merits in strengthening and protection of state independence, increase of defensive power of our country, safety of our native land and its citizens, legality and law and order, promotion of stability and peace on the planet with historical initiatives based on principles of permanent neutrality of Turkmenistan, and increase of the international authority of our state, huge personal contribution to education of military men in the spirit of love and fidelity to our native land, courage, honesty, long-term honest work and on the basis of the offers from national representatives, large public associations, labour collectives and citizens of our country, according to article 81 of the Constitution of Turkmenistan, and on the occasion of the glorious 35^th anniversary of sacred independence of Turkmenistan, the Mejlis of Turkmenistan decrees:

To award President of Turkmenistan Berdimuhamedov Serdar Gurbangulyevich the anniversary medal of Turkmenistan «Türkmenistanyň Garaşsyzlygynyň 35 ýyllygyna bagyşlanyp geçirilen dabaraly harby ýörişe gatnaşyja».
