President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov instructed the leadership of the Turkmen agro-industrial complex go into the issue on exporting agricultural products. According to E.Orazgeldiev, vice-premier on agriculture, during the reporting period, the growth rate of production volumes, works and services was 101 percent for the agro-industrial complex. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Resources, this indicator reached 108.2 percent, the State Committee on Environment Protection and Land Resources - 107.6 percent, the State Association ""Turkmen Atlary"" - 106.5 percent and the State Association of Food Industry - 101.6 percent. Also, the Deputy Prime Minister said that in comparison with the same period last year, the volume of production in the country of meat, eggs, vegetable and melon products, grapes has increased. Having heard the report, the President of Turkmenistan stressed that today the main task was not only to fill the domestic market with agricultural products of domestic production, but also to arrange its export. Also, the Head of the state noted that it was necessary to intensify the work on transferring farmland to daikhans (rural workers) for long-term lease.
