Upon completion of the Turkmen-Russian high-level talks, it was held the ceremony of signing bilateral documents. Presidents Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and Vladimir Putin put their signatures to the Joint Statement and a Treaty on Strategic Partnership between Turkmenistan and the Russian Federation. In the presence of the heads of state the following documents were signed: Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Russian Federation for suppression of the illicit drug trafficking, psychotropic substances and their precursors; Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Russian Federation for the mutual opening of representative offices of authorized bodies in the sphere of migration; Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Russian Federation for cooperation in the field of industry; Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Russian Federation for cooperation in the field of agriculture; The Protocol on amendments to Agreement between Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Russian Federation on cooperation in the field of maritime transport, dated from September 17, 2013; Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Russian Federation for cooperation in the field of sport; Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Government of the Russian Federation for cooperation in the field of tourism; Program of Cooperation for 2018-2020 between the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation; Agreement between the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation for cooperation in the field of health; Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of standardization and metrology between the “Türkmenstandartlary” Main State Service (Turkmenistan) and the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology (Russian Federation); Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation between the Ministry of Finance of Turkmenistan and the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation; Agreement between the Government of Turkmenistan and the Administration of Krasnodar region of the Russian Federation for trade-economic, scientific-technical and cultural cooperation; Agreement between the khyakimlik of Mary (Turkmenistan) and an administrative body of the municipal formation “Orel City” (Russian Federation) for the establishment of twin-city relations between Mary city and Orel city.
