Ruhyet Palace hosted the award ceremony of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with high award of the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation – the Order Duslyk, which was commended to Turkmen leader by the President of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov. The Chairperson of the Mejlis, deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, members of the Government delegation of the Republic of Tatarstan and mass media representatives took part in the ceremonial event. Opening the ceremony, high ranking guest congratulated President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov and all Turkmen people on large sport event – V Asian indoor and Martial Arts Games opening in Turkmen capital. On behalf of his people, President Rustam Minnikhanov expressed deep gratitude to Turkmen leader for considerable contribution to the development of relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of Tatarstan, which are based on deep historical roots, similarity of spiritual values, culture and traditions. Having said that he is sincerely happy to present the Head of fraternal Turkmenistan, large political figure and a Man who makes large personal input in unification of the people of the world, with honourable award Duslyk (Friendship), President Rustam Minnikhanov highlighted that current event is a bright evidence of mutual respect and traust between two nations. Under applauses of the participants, high ranking guest presented President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov with the award of Tatarstan – Order Duslyk. Having expressed sincere gratitude to President Rustam Minikhanov for this honour, Turkmen leader noted that he accepted this honourable award as high appreciation of peace loving and creative policy pursued by neutral Turkmenistan as well as an evidence of fruitful Turkmenistan – Tatarstan cooperation in bilateral format and under multilateral dialog with the Russian Federation. We care of our friendship, similarity of history and cultures, spiritual values, - the Head of Turkmen state said. The Republic of Tatarstan is an important partner of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov continued, having highlighted that our country attaches great attention to cooperation in trade and economic sphere and realization of joint projects including oil, gas and chemical spheres. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed the Head of Tatarstan for the opportunity given to Turkmen students to study and improve professional knowledge in the universities of the Russian Federation. Having confirmed the adherence of Turkmenistan to expansion of fruitful cooperation with the Republic of Kazakhstan, on behalf of Turkmen people and personally Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed the gratitude to Rustam Minnikhanov and wished him strong health and future success in his responsible activity prosperity and happiness to friendly people of Tatarstan. The President of Turkmenistan addressed the gratitude to the leaders of the Russian Federation that supports the development of full-scale dialog with Turkmenistan both in intergovernmental cooperation and bilateral cooperation with Russian regions.
