Farmers in Turkmenistan will begin planting winter wheat on 23 August of the current year. The relevant instruction was given by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the Government session. The head of state noted that grain farmers entered the crucial stage of planting winter crops. It is important to ensure the high quality of works during the sowing season that lays the foundation for the future harvest, and follow the tight time frame and norms of agricultural engineering. The Turkmen leader expressed his wish that, according to the good national tradition, this major event would be attended by honored elders. “Let every planted grain of wheat bring back a hundredfold!” said the head of state and wished good health and rich harvest to grain farmers and all tillers.
