On completion of the mass bicycle race the head of the state had a talk with Jean Tomlin, chief executive officer of British company Trivandi Сhanzo Ltd who noticed that for the company – it is a great honour to be partner of Turkmenistan in preparation for the 5th Asian indoor and martial arts games. Tomlin made an appreciation of objects of the Olympic village and preparation level of volunteers. As the guest outlined, Turkmenistan responsibly approaches the organisation of sports actions. It gives confidence that the «Ashgabat 2017» will become a bright and lasting event in the sports life of the continent. Then President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov was handed the first number of accreditation document and invitation card to the opening and closing ceremonies of the 5th Asian indoor and martial arts games and for sports competitions. Having thanked for the presented honour, the head of the state underlined that sports – an envoy of peace, friendship and cooperation and will be made all-round efforts to provide a high organizational level of the «Ashgabat 2017». The president also noticed that at the moment the country obtained the right to host the Asian Games, its program included 16 sports and today they total 21. The quantity of the countries participating in the Asian Games of 2017 has reached 64 and it testifies to the unprecedented scale of the 5th Asian indoor and martial arts games.
