According to the Decree of the Head of State, from January 1st, 2018, the salaries of employees of budgetary institutions, self-supporting enterprises and public organizations, as well as pensions and state allowances, and scholarships for students and trainees, will be increased by 10 percent. The minimum amount of pensions for participants in the Great Patriotic War will be set at 1169 manat per month; the minimum amount of pensions for spouses of participants in the Great Patriotic War and workers of the homefront - in the amount of 343 manats per month; the base amount for determining the minimum amount of pensions is 279 manat; The base value for calculation of state benefits is 266 manat. The minimum wage for Turkmenistan will be 715 manat. The increase in wages will be ensured by improving the structure of institutions, enterprises and organizations, increasing the efficiency of using productive capacities and labor productivity of workers, attracting unused internal reserves.
