The President of Turkmenistan signed the Resolution approving the membership of the Turkmen side of the Turkmenistan–Japan Economic Committee. The agenda of the 12th session of the Turkmenistan–Japan Committee on Economic Cooperation, that will take place in Tokyo, will cover the issues of the further development of bilateral collaboration in the most promising areas. Development of mutually beneficial relations with countries of the Asia–Pacific region, including Japan, is one of the key vectors of Turkmenistan’s foreign policy, stressed President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the Government session on 23 June. Several globally recognized Japanese companies have been working in Turkmenistan quite successfully. Large-scale transformative programs and projects create real conditions for intensification of business contacts and a wider attraction of Japan’s expertise into many spheres, particularly, hi-tech industries and investment sector.
