Intensive construction pace in Turkmenistan has become a powerful incentive for development of various sectors, including the construction materials industry. Almost in all regions of the country new and existing enterprises of this industry are being built or reconstructed. An important factor for development of this area was the implementation of the Import Substitution Program in Industry, developed on the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov. The self-sustained production of drywall from local raw materials will make it possible to largely meet the needs of domestic builders, becoming another import-substitution area.
