It was just over a month since the opening of the largest in the Central Asia industrial complex when new facility achieved its first milestone – more than 1000 tons of ecologically clean mineral fertilizers were delivered to the farms of Lebap, Mary, Ahal, Dashoguz and Balkan Velayats. 10 specialized cargo rail carts were shipped by the railroad to the neighbouring Afghanistan. Mineral material is produced taking into account the specifics of mountain and geological conditions of Garlyk deposit by fully mechanized combined method. Five rotor machines break the rock strata on the first horizon on the depth of 300 meters. Modern equipment like self propelled carts, belt conveyors, lifting mechanisms transporting the ore from the mine face to reception bunkers, is used for delivery of ore. From 1000 to 1500 tons of ore mass are lifted daily from the mineshaft daily using this equipment. For provision of designed capacity of the complex – 1.4 million tons per of potassium fertilizers per year, more than 7 million tons of ore will be produced annually from natural deposits. At present moment, three technology trains for production of potassium chloride were commissioned at production site where the main and auxiliary ore processing facilities like ore dressing factory, ore and ready product storage and other functional objects operate. The extracted ore is shredded at the mills; the clay and non-soluble ends are removed and it is mixed with chemical agents and supplied to floatation machines. The additives are removed form received mass and sent to sludge storage while the pulp with potassium chloride is filtered, dried and granulated and then sent to ready product ware house. For continuous work of the facility, the complex of technological processes automated control system, based on software, technical and communication means meeting most modern requirements, is installed there. Senior Process Engineer of the complex Erkin Babajanov informed that Turkmen specialists, trained in universities and profile schools of Belarus and Turkmenistan, successfully provide the operation of industrial facilities.
