Memorandum of Understanding between the Central Bank of Turkmenistan (CBT) and the Savings Banks Fund for International Cooperation of the Federal Republic of Germany was signed in Berlin. The document is aimed at deepening cooperation in the field of strengthening financial system and vocational training, exchanging visits of experts and specialists. The Fund is also a partner in the holding of World Day of Savings. The target audience of joint actions is teachers and students of the Specialized Banking School and customers of the country's banks. Cooperation with this structure began in 2012 from the first working visit of the delegation of the Fund. The project ""Introduction of dual professional training in the specialty of a banking specialist in Turkmenistan"" became an example of the interaction between the CBT and the Savings Banks Fund, within the framework of which over 400 employees of the banking system have upgraded their professional skills during 2013-2017. Since its foundation in 1992, the Fund has supported financial institutions in various countries as well as small and medium-sized enterprises. Currently, the Fund implements development projects in more than 40 states.
