In Ashgabat, the work continues to further improvement of the architectural face of the capital in preparation for the forthcoming the 5th Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in September this year. The enterprises, working in this sphere, focus on reconstruction of the facades of apartment houses and improvement of public gardens and parks of the city. In particular, at present measures are being taken to plant a new park in the southern part of Ashgabat. Great attention is paid to the further development of transport infrastructure: motorways are being reconstructed; new multi-level underground parking lots, stops and road junctions are being built. Work is continuing in all areas of the city to improve the social and engineering infrastructure.
