Grain Harvesting to Begin in Turkmenistan on 7 June

Grain harvesting in the four of Turkmenistan’s five provinces will begin on 7 June. The respective decision was taken at the Government session dedicated to the outcomes of the five months of 2017. As reported at the session, preparation of grain collection points, and grain combine harvesters and vehicles for the harvesting season has reached the final stage. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov has stressed that the main task facing the grain farmers is to quickly harvest the crops without waste. The head of state gave his blessing to begin the grain harvesting season in Ahal, Balkan, Lebap and Mary provinces on 7 June, and in Dashoguz on 14 June.
