The Ministry of Industry of Turkmenistan has announced an international investment tender for the construction of a production line with a capacity of 300-600 thousand tons of cement per year within the Kelyata Cement Plant. The Kelyata Cement Plant was put into operation in 2000. Its design capacity is 686.300 tons of cement per year. In addition to the Kelyata Enterprise, the industry’s infrastructure includes Baharly, Balkan and Lebap cement plants, each with a capacity of 1 million tons per year. In 2016, the export of Turkmen cement had increased 7.7 times in comparison with 2015.
