More than a quarter from eight thousand hectares intended for rice in Dashoguz velayat have already been sown in the specialized farms of Saparmurat Turkmenbashi etrap. Dashoguz and Lebap velayats are the main suppliers of domestic rice to the country's food market. This year it is planned to produce over 34 thousand tons of rice. The northern region has all necessary conditions for the cultivation of rice, including a fleet of modern specialized equipment. The opportunity has been created to process most of the harvested crop on the spot thanks to the new modern enterprise for rice cleaning, built in 2015.
