During the patriotic action devoted to the year of health and inspiration, its participants with the brand of the Asian indoor and martial arts games -2017 visited noteworthy places in every velayat of Turkmenistan. The State News Agency and Executive committee for preparation for the 5th Asian indoor and martial arts games have acted as organizers of the project. This action urged to popularise the tourist potential of the country the capital of which will host the forthcoming large scale competitions of the best athletes of Asia and the Oceania in the autumn. In days of the holiday of the Turkmen racer the project approached the final stage, having captured all regions of the country. Participants of the action visited a unique corner of nature of Dashoguz velayat, where as if the trace of the hoof of a giant horse, there lie the depression of Akja-gaya among open spaces of the Kara Kum. It is a cyclopean hollow the size of which form a satellite picture reminding a huge horseshoe and has an extent of fifty kilometres, and width - about six kilometres. It is known as the deepest place in Turkmenistan - tens metres below the level of the world ocean. Before it participants of the action visited the peak of Ayrybaba in Lebap velayat - the highest point of Turkmenistan (3139 metres above sea level). The raising here the brand of Ashgabat Games was dated for inauguration of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov. 200 days before the start of the Asian indoor and martial arts games-2017 noted the ascending to the top of Dushakerikdag (2482 metres), half a year to their beginning - on the mountain Hasardag towering over rich Turkmen subtropics in Balkan velayat. The route for the world day of health was chosen, at first sight, unexpected. After surmounting mountain tops it was decided to ascend the ""top"" of the historical the country Margush - one of the centres of origin of civilisation. And in honour of the holiday of the Turkmen racer, the way of the group ""Ascension"" went through the northern region of the country … To the place the expedition came by train on the steel highway Ashgabat-Kara Kum-Dashoguz. In the organisation of the given action workers of the Ministry of Railway Transport of the country, moreover, employees of its division in Dashoguz velayat rendered their assistance to its participants. From the station which was located on the boundary of sand and oasis, the project group by off-road cars headed in the heart of the desert heart – towards the depression of Akja-gaya. At first, it moved along wide highways, and then – along deserted roads, which in itself serve as sight and attraction for tourists, who wish to see the scale and beauty of the Kara Kum. These days the desert has changed – dunes have become covered by a green carpet of meadow grasses, numerous bushes with their emerald foliage. And among bright yellow umbrellas ferrules at times there flashed brown foxes. The road smoothly runs downwards, and dunes give way to clay takyr – the expedition reached the depression of Akja-gaya with its surprising landscapes, an unusual landscape relief. Difference of heights of the depression similar to a huge bowl of the freakish form and refined furnish, reaches two hundred metres. Its walls are painted by nature as a puff pie - in white, pink and brown strips covering them with clay - carbonate strata of marl and limestone. In Akja-gaya that means «white breakage», prevailing colour, in consent with toponymics of this district, is white that contrastingly looks with the general green background of spring desert. Marl clay in hollow layers are fragile, it easily breaks and disappears. Slices of strata from the hollow bottom without effort crumble in hands. However layers of limestone are firmer and are steady against water and solar action. Such heterogeneity has caused relief drawing on walls. Carefully selecting various minerals, nature as if tried to receive this or that shade, collected as a result a various colour palette in this hollow. All these stratums store memory of the ancient sea which waves lapped here millions years ago. Here one could find fossils of mysterious animals which once settled in these depths. According to some researchers, thanks to sea currents, this hollow appeared here. Successors of the sea - carbonates - an integral part of strong limestone, a soft snow-white chalk and well-known to us as marble, in many respects thanks to which beauty Ashgabat is recognised as an architectural pearl of the region and was included in the Guinness Book of Records. With northern steep walls, slopes surrounding the height of Eshekankrenkyr depression, contrasted smooth contours of southern boards of the depression - sand which unsuccessfully tries to fall asleep in the millennia a huge bowl of Akja-gaya here prevails. It in the desert was left not by the sea, and the mighty rivers, whose adjournment as many scientists consider, have combined sandy thicknesses of the Kara Kum. Members of the expedition with the brand of the Asian indoor and martial arts games -2017 have overcome last kilometres of the way by foot to the bottom of the depression - clay, spotted with a surprising pattern of cracks, intricate as if a carving made by the hand of talented jeweller. The deepest place of the hollow - 81 metres below the level of world ocean. Here it is dry, only rain streams that evaporate under sun beams at times reach, or are absorbed in clay. Therefore the bottom - absolutely flat, without dry course. Having left it, members of the expedition begin ascending. With the brands of the Asian indoor and martial arts games -2017 on which the fleet-footed racer reaching a victorious finish is represented, participants of the patriotic action have covered the route of thousand kilometres through all the country, having visited all five regions. Difference of heights of this route (from the highest point of the country - Ayrybaba to the deepest point - Akja-gaya) has made more than 3220 metres. The journey on the native land from region to region a considerable part of which was covered by train on new steel highways, has allowed to see how thanks to the large scale reforms developed at the initiative of President Gurbanguly Berdymuhamedov, the Turkmen earth has changed. As with enthusiasm railwaymen who have taken part in our action marked, they aspire to bring their contribution to realisation of grandiose programs of the leader of the nation, experiencing a pride that Turkmen steel highways became a basis of revival of the Great Silk road and mighty locomotives and modern structures which transport millions of cargoes and passengers, have come instead of past caravans. All it increases also tourist appeal of Turkmenistan. The significance of Akja-gaya - one of numerous sights of unique Turkmen nature with its surprising landscapes will increase as well. In occurrence of the given hollow which are located practically in the centre of stable seismic region of the Turan plate, tectonic forces have also taken part. Streams hot mineral e waters remained here after researches of geologists also attest to it. Properties of such water can be of interest for balneology. Vicinities of Akja-gaya are similar to other hollow - Yeroylanduz in Badhyz causing interest by its ancient cones, extinct volcanoes and sea fossils which were also caused by tectonic forces and ancient seas. But the source or moisture of numerous here deposits could not flood even a small part of the hollow of Akja-gaya. This miracle of nature warns a hot local climate against transformation into a usual lake which is numerous on the planet. Deposits in the Kara Kum make only about hundred millimetres a year, and evaporations, thanks to a special energy of the sun, almost ten times higher. Other hollows though are not as deep as Akja-gaya; also bring diversity to the landscape of the Kara Kum. Besides objects of ecological tourism, Dashoguz region abounds with historical and cultural monuments and architecture masterpieces, giving the chance to feel spirit and bewitching melody of the medieval East. Koneurgench , Ibrahim Edhem, Ashik Aydyn pir, Ysmamyt Ata, Zamahshari … are names of the most popular tourist directions in the northern region of Turkmenistan. The expedition comes to the end and again deserted roads on which Akhalteke racers in the ancient time rushed and caravans of camels wandered, participants of the patriotic action move already in the opposite direction - to the railway station. The sun has touched edge of dunes, filling with soft sunset light, and the coming nearer the powerful locomotive heading to Ashgabat – white marble coated capital where in September large scale competitions with participation of the best athletes of Asia and the Oceania will take place has greeted passengers on the platform with the brand of the Asian indoor and martial arts games -2017.
