The wide application of innovative technologies and best practices, provision of high living standards for the population are the key aspects of the large-scale urban development ongoing in the capital and in other cities and settlements countrywide. As part of the 15th stage of the Ashgabat Development Program, over 200 two-story cottages are now under construction in the capital. The elite housing in the capital’s southern-west is being built by the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of the country. Individual enterprises and economic associations are building owners and shareholding partners of the project. A new-type residential complex is being constructed without the use of budget funds. The houses (with an area of 350 square meters each) faced with ceramic granite are noted not only for their architecture, tiled roofs, and an attic floor. One of the project owner’s requirements is that the cottages built of solid-cast claydite concrete and gas-concrete blocks should meet high ecological standards. To comply with the requirements, local building materials produced with the application of the latest technologies are mainly used in construction. The same requirements have to be fulfilled for the vital systems of the houses. Each cottage has entirely autonomous and is equipped with a heating system – a convertible boiler supplies hot water for heating and domestic needs, as well as with a VRV system - multi-split-type air conditioning. The interior layout of the cottages is offered in two variants: as per the design and with the consideration to would-be house owners. The first floor accommodates a remote-controlled built-in garage, a spacious kitchen, a living room, a bedroom, a toilet and a small extension. The second floor houses a study, three bedrooms, an entrance to a terrace and two toilets. All the houses have winter-proofed attic. Each cottage (with a 0.6-hectare plot of land attached to it) boasts a garden with a summerhouse. Additionally, 18 twelve-story, 16 three- and four-story residential buildings, 11 shopping centers, a kindergarten, a school and other social infrastructure facilities are planned to be constructed.
