The list of industrial, cultural and public buildings and facilities scheduled for commissioning in 2017 was approved. The relevant order was signed by the President of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov. The list includes 586 buildings and facilities worth $6.7 billion that are being constructed by the Ashgabat municipality; provincial administrations; government structures; and the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan in accordance with the decrees previously adopted by the head of state. The document was developed to enhance control over the timely and high-quality execution of ongoing works, and the implementation of programs for socio-economic development adopted in the country.
